Christchurch Earthquake
We were engaged to visit our community’s most vulnerable people following the devastating Christchurch earthquake. We deployed over 30 field agents on the ground to visit people, assess property damage and offer support in a very challenging environment.
Recovering the Impossible.
One of our competitors said it couldn’t be done! After several attempts were made to negotiate payment of the arrears failed, we successfully repossessed a large spa pool from the rear of a executive’s residential property. We employed a local crane operator along with a flat deck truck, traffic control and a qualified civil engineer to assist us.
Results in Under 8 Hours.
We acted with urgency to provide a large finance company with the transparency they were seeking by auditing an ‘at risk’ motor vehicle dealership. We identified and reported a number of significant concerns regarding the location of several assets.
Commercial Fishing Vessel Located & Repossessed.
The last known location was thought to be in the Marlborough sounds. We successfully located the commercial fishing vessel, employed a qualified skipper and relocated the vessel to a secure location on behalf of our client.
Missing Food Truck Located & Repossessed.
After two repossession agents failed to locate a hidden food truck, our discreet investigations and surveillance confirmed its location. We repossessed the food truck within 8 hours of receiving our clients instructions.
Over 100 Motor Vehicles Located & Repossessed.
We received instructions from a company receiver to locate and repossess over 100 motor vehicles across New Zealand. Our five repossession agents located over 80% of the motor vehicles. Unfortunately the balance could not be economically recovered due to serious mechanical or intentional damage.

The Neill Group (TNG) assists with company liquidation, receiverships and mortgagee sales. We have an excellent working relationship with bailiffs, police, liquidators and other enforcement agencies. We understand the law relating to the re-entry of commercial properties or residential properties that are the subject of a mortgagee sale. We take responsibility for the security of the property by employing a locksmith, security guard or electronic surveillance system.
