The Neill Group (TNG) was established in 1987 by Dion Neill. He is a former member of the defence forces and emergency services (qualified first responder). Dion is a recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces service medal, St John service medal and long service award from the Wellington Free Ambulance.

Dion has been awarded with a Certificate in Investigation Skills from the Royal New Zealand Police College, National Certificate in Security (Level IV), Certificate in Executive Protection (USA), Certificate in Security Operations (Level IV – Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia) along with other recognised credentials.

The Neill Group (TNG) are Government licensed by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority (PSPLA) as Private Investigators, Repossession Agents, Personal Guards, Property Guards, Crowd Controllers, Security Consultants, Monitoring Officers and Confidential Document Destruction Agents.
