Founded in 1987 by Dion Neill, The Neill Group (TNG) is a nationwide provider of skip tracing, private investigation, high-level security and field based services. We have established offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to support our regional based team of experienced field agents, process servers, private investigators, security professionals and repossession agents.
Every member of The Neill Group (TNG) contributes to a large resource of collective experience from the New Zealand defence forces, law enforcement and intelligence sectors. Our highly-skilled team of people are governed by a strict code of ethics and professional standards, they are carefully selected for their resilience, skill set and operational expertise.
The Neill Group (TNG) team from Kaitaia to Bluff consists of field agents, process servers, security professionals, private investigators and repossession agents. All of our people comply with the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010. The Neill Group (TNG) is government licensed by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority (PSPLA).

Introducing Dion Neill, Founder & Business Owner
Dion Neill is a strong advocate for raising the benchmark of service delivery and professional standards within the industry. His career began following a period of service in the New Zealand defence forces, he was extensively trained by former military, intelligence and law enforcement personnel.
Dion attended the private training establishment of the Royal New Zealand Police College and gained a Certificate in Investigation Skills. He was certified as a fraud examiner and achieved a NZQA National Certificate in Security, Certificate in Executive Protection (USA), Level IV Certificate in Security Operations (Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia) along with a number of other credentials.
Following his time as a first responder, Dion was offered a senior leadership role with a large security company. He was responsible for managing a team of over 300 front line security staff. Dion was assigned to protect a prominent business owner from serious threats of violence. This assignment was the catalyst for Dion to further develop his interest in providing high-level security and personal protection.
You’re in very safe hands! Dion and his associates have worked in some of the world’s most volatile regions including Asia and Middle East. Dion personally managed the security for a New Zealand sports team during a tour of South Africa. Dion is a recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces Service Medal, St John Service Medal and Long Service Award from the Wellington Free Ambulance.
