Introducing Dion Neill
Our founder and business owner Dion Neill is one of New Zealand’s longest serving private investigators, security specialists and process servers (legal document servers). His career began with service in the New Zealand defence forces and emergency services, followed by extensive training with former detectives, senior police officers, military personnel and intelligence specialists.
During his time at the private training establishment of the Royal New Zealand Police College, Dion gained a Certificate in Investigation Skills. In 1998, he was certified as a fraud examiner (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Dion is a recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces Service Medal, St John Service Medal and Long Service Award from the Wellington Free Ambulance.
Dion was named as a finalist of the New Zealand Security Awards and prestigious Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs). He was presented with a National Certificate in Security (Level IV), Certificate in Executive Protection (USA), Certificate in Security Operations (Level IV – Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia) along with several other recognised credentials.

We will not disclose any confidential information without the consent of our clients. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Our people sign a non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement prior to their employment.

We will not accept or engage in any assignments where there is a conflict of interest. This includes domestic related matters where the objective of the assignment is unclear or not disclosed.
Government Licensing
The Neill Group (TNG) are Government licensed by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority (PSPLA) in the following licence categories:
Private Investigator, Repossession Agent, Personal Guard, Property Guard, Crowd Controller, Security Consultant, Monitoring Officer and Confidential Document Destruction Agent.
